The Lowe Foundation received 63 formal requests for discretionary grants. The total amount available for discretionary grants was $598,916.80 and the total amount requested was in excess of $2,888,225.81.
Based upon a consideration of the grant applications, the Trustees have decided to award the discretionary grants for 2025 to the organizations as shown below.
Those organizations which were not awarded a grant for 2024 are encouraged to submit a request for discretionary grants to be awarded in 2025. The fact that an organization's grant request was not acted upon favorably should not influence the decision to request a future grant.
Questions and inquiries regarding the grant procedures or any other matters should be made to the Foundation office.
The Jane K. Lowe Charitable Foundation was established in 1997 and is funded by a testamentary trust that has a 30 year term ending in 2027. The 2026 grant cycle will be the final year for the foundation to award discretionary grants.
