In 2026, the Trustees of the Foundation made a distribution to the named beneficiaries of the Foundation, as follows:

The Lowe Foundation received 77 formal requests for discretionary grants. The total amount available for discretionary grants was $640,376.88 and the total amount requested was in excess of $3,285,193.00.

Based upon a consideration of the grant applications, the Trustees have decided to award the discretionary grants for 2026 to the organizations as shown below.

Established in 1997 through a testamentary trust with a thirty-year term ending in 2027, the Jane K. Lowe Charitable Foundation has been privileged to support charitable organizations and the meaningful work they perform in our communities. As the Foundation now approaches the conclusion of that legacy, the 2026 grant cycle will be its final year of discretionary grantmaking. The Foundation will not accept applications or award discretionary grants in 2027 or thereafter.

Over the course of its existence, the Foundation will have distributed a total of $41,828,892.85, including $16,708,428.90 in discretionary grants. Through these grants, the Foundation has had the privilege of supporting charitable organizations whose work has strengthened communities, expanded opportunities, and improved the lives of countless individuals and we are confident that these organizations will continue to create a lasting impact.
